Scott Dixon is one of the most likely drivers in the United States to make the jump from CART to Formula 1. There are many reasons to back up that statement, not the least of which is that he became the youngest driver in CART history to win a race, and at the tender age of 23 he has many more years to prove his speed to the Formula 1 teams. Before entering CART, Scott shined in Indy Lights and Australian Formula Holden, taking the championship in each.
After entering CART,
he performed equally
well by breaking
most "youngest to"
records in the sport
and winning the
rookie of the year
award. Should Scott enter the fight for the CART championship in the next few years, he will certainly find F1 knocking at his door.
